This is one of several promos for upcoming Marvel Netflix shows that premiered at SDCC. The full trailer for the upcoming Luke Cage was revealed, alongside a brief teaser for The Defenders, which will see all four heroes team up.
Iron Fist features Game of Thrones star Finn Jones as the highly-skilled Daniel Rand, a martial arts master with supernatural abilities. He first appeared in 1974 in Marvel Premiere #15, and is also known for being a member of the team Heroes for Hire alongside Luke Cage.
Although a premiere date for the show is yet to be announced, it will almost certainly debut in 2017. If it follows Netflix's previous schedule for its Marvel shows, a spring release looks likely.
