Bethesda is offering an Easter sale for its popular iOS and Android mobile game Fallout Shelter.

All weekend long, you can save 50 percent on all microtransaction bundles. Why? Because "all overseers love Easter bunnies," Bethesda said in a tweet.

Fallout Shelter is free, but you can pay real-world money for various items and bundles that unlock extra items. Microtransactions are entirely optional, as the items can be earned through normal gameplay.

Bethesda launched Fallout Shelter back in June 2015, immediately after its E3 briefing. The company has regularly supported the game since then, including updates themed around Halloween and Thanksgiving.

The game's latest update, the biggest one to date, launched earlier this month. It added crafting rooms, a barbershop, a day/night cycle, and new pets such as parrots and dalmatians.

Fallout Shelter is the first mobile game from Bethesda Game Studios--and it won't be the last. Bethesda's Todd Howard told GameSpot recently that, in part due to the success of Fallout Shelter, the developer has plans to make even more mobile games in the future. These have not been announced, however.
