Fallout 3 & Oblivion double pack drops April 3

They need to remake Morrowind for 360, then make a trilogy pack with Morrowind, Oblivion, and Skyrim.

Great timing on Bethesda's part skyrim is at its height of its popularity, slap two good games together that are at least four years old and cash in on your new fans, they probably would have done it sooner if that law suit didn't get in the way.

I guess Sony just wants to release their own double packs. Such as Resistance 1,2 and Uncharted 1,2. Blu ray disc can easily hold both games with all of their DLC add ons? This would be good for people who have missed these games. If anyone has.

@tes4eva Every bethesda game is broken to some extent, funnily enough none of those bugs you mentioned never happened to me. For me the ps3 version of any bethesda game has been more stable than the PC versions.

Games for Windows LIVE DRM for the PC version? *Ugh*. Tad expensive too, considering that distributors like Amazon and Steam are selling the games for lower prices.

@fend_oblivion unfortunately it seems all bethesda games are broken on ps3 fo3 buggy as hell, oblivion if you become a vampire there is no cure because the cure quest is broke and im sure you heard about skyrim

You could probably find a used copy of non-GOTY Oblivion for less than $10, and a used Fallout 3 for not much more. Without the dlc, this isn't really worth it.

I already own the PC versions of both of those classics.

If I hadn't already dumped 400 hours into those games I would be all over it.

Hmm these games aren't even set in the same universe or series... I would guess Bethesda is only doing this because of there success with Skyrim.

For the 3 or 4 people who have held out thus far. (-I still remember the day I bought Fallout 3. Not unlike the day you meet your next GF.)

I hope some one can clarify but isn't the Fallout 3 GOTY edition on PS3 broken? I remember reading on the Bethesda forums that the game kept crashing frequently.

I for one am happy about this as I have yet to play both these games.

I can think of two reasons why this isn't hitting the ps3, anyone can think of a third?

This pack will not sell well if it doesn't have the GOTY editions

@scarletsnake and Raxyman I havent, I would love to but I dont the money or the hard drive space on my brother's ps3 to play them.

@cipo89 No one said they are game of the year editions. So far everyone is under the assumption that they are NOT GOTY editions, which then would not be a deal at all considering how much all the DLC costs

My favorite games of all time going for 30$ and they're both a GOTY version? Thats a steal

2 games that will consume years of your life for a low price? Yup, if you haven't gotten it yet do it now.

@HollowNinja because there are people out there who doesn't want to spend money on a new pc just to play a game that they can play on consoles or people like me who prefer to play on consoles and the games play great with out mods and I see no need for them there is so much to do in them to keep you busy for a very long time plus playing bunch of other awesome games and it isn't Sony it is probably M$ bribing them for it to be exclusive or timed exclusive either way it doesn't bother me since I already own both of those games

Oh ho. Sony up to their usual antics? Not that it matters, since I have the PC versions anyways. I don't even see the point of the console versions; Bethesda games practically require mods.

30$ for 300+ hours of gameplay. If you haven't tried these games out, this is the time!

If this pack does not come with all DLC it's better to stick with the game of the year editions.

Probably won't buy this since I already own Oblivion and Fallout 3 game of the year edition. But if they added trophies for oblivion i might rent it if it ever comes to gamefly. That is if it even comes for the ps3, since that is the only system i have.

I like the idea, and for 20 bucks this sounds like a give away for such amazing games. Hopefully both will be the GOTY releases, or it wouldn't have much point in this product as everyone already played them.

@shadowhunter0 : I agree..it's not like anyone's gonna say ''Wow! I can get these 2 games already out on each system bundled exclusively...this definitely sways my choice!'' when buying a system.Paying Bethesda off to release it exclusively won't benefit them at all if not hurt them in the long run.
