The Spider-Man franchise swings back to theaters starting in April.

Every live-action Spider-Man movie, spanning eight films in all, will be re-released in theaters beginning next month. The films will screen in "select" theaters starting April 15.

You can find a participating theater through the Spider-Man website, which lists off a variety of Regal and Alamo Drafthouse locations across the US.

Each film will return to theaters for one week, and the releases will be in chronological order based on the Spider-Man timeline. The movies will release each Monday. Sony did not say why it's doing this, but 2024 does mark the 20th anniversary of Spider-Man 2.

Spider-Man re-release schedule:

  • Spider-Man -- April 15
  • Spider-Man 2 -- April 22
  • Spider-Man 3 -- April 29
  • The Amazing Spider-Man -- May 6
  • The Amazing Spider-Man 2 -- May 13
  • Spider-Man: Homecoming -- May 20
  • Spider-Man: Far From Home -- May 27
  • Spider-Man: No Way Home -- June 3

It's worth calling out that all of these movies except No Way Home are currently streaming on Disney+ in the US, along with a range of other Spider-Man content.

Looking ahead, Tom Holland could come back to play Spider-Man yet again in a fourth film. He thought about walking away, though. "There's a bit of a stigma about the fourth one in all franchises. I feel like we hit a home run with our first franchise and there's a part of me that wants to walk away with my head held high and pass the baton to the next lucky kid that gets to bring this character to life," he said.

As for the wider Spider-Man universe, Venom: The Last Dance comes to theaters this October, and Sony is surely hoping it will perform better than Madame Web.
