Comments

Between your Crimson Flask of Tears and some handy incantations, there are plenty of ways to keep yourself healed in Elden Ring. However, if you're a particularly aggressive player looking to keep your health topped off in fights, you may want to consider the Assassin's Crimson Dagger talisman. In this guide, we'll tell you where to find this helpful piece of equipment.

Assassin's Crimson Dagger talisman explained

The Assassin's Crimson Dagger talisman heals you for 85 HP and 10% of your total health when you perform critical hits on enemies. If you're able to break your foes' posture regularly, this can come in handy.

The Assassin's Crimson Dagger talisman's item description reads:

An assassin's dagger, misshapen and stained in crimson. Critical hits restore HP. This charm is modeled after the darkly gleaming blades used in the Night of Black Knives. Those which gave the demigods their first taste of death.

Where to get the Assassin's Crimson Dagger talisman

The Assassin's Crimson Dagger talisman is found by defeating the boss within the Deathtouched Catacombs dungeon in Limgrave. The catacombs can be found in northern Limgrave and offer a solid introduction to how similar dungeons will function as the game progresses.

Within the Deathtouched Catacombs, fight your way through enemies until you reach a statue with a lever. Pulling this lever opens the giant double door back at the start of the dungeon. Return there to fight a boss.

The boss of Deathtouched Catacombs is a Black Knife Assassin – one of a few you'll face throughout the game. This is a fairly easy encounter even at low levels, and Spirit Summons can make it even less challenging. Once she's dead, you'll score the Assassin's Crimson Dagger talisman.
