Edge of Reality prepping Xbox 360, PS3 Sims

Cool! I have all the console Sims games and most are great! I am very excited about this! As i do agree, the PC version is and will always be king! An Xbox 360 and PS3 version sounds cool! It'll have great graphics and be really cool! I cannot wait!

Sims 3 is never the same thing on consoles. But sometimes it's good. Never as much as PC, but sometimes good.

i used to LOVE playing sims2 coop with my friend awhile ago, but xbox360 sims 3 sounds awesome! hopefully we'll have the ability of a second floor and NO FIRE CODE. NO FIRE CODE. NO FIRE CODE. i say this three times and in unnecessary caps because i HATED FIRE CODE.

@Barighm Maybe you haven't realized it yet, but you're already living a virtual second-life in a non-fictional setting when you play whatever games you enjoy playing.

Hopefuly these wii titles will be better than the MySims, just sayin' :P

Hopefully they'll go back to the freedom of how Sims Bustin Out was with all the normal sims options as opposed to the Urbz type stuff where you aren't able to fully make your own house any way you like it. One of my favorite parts of playing the original PC game was making my dad's and grandparent's houses in the game! If only in the new one they let players create much bigger homes since we don't have memory cards holding memory back anymore. :)

ok so they done the console version which I enjoy playing so here to them if they can make the sims on next gen as good as the pc version.

i hope it sticks more towards the pc version of the sims 3. huge roaming towns and complete customizations. tho if i does not the games in the past have been enjoyable but the pc versions were always king

i knew this was going to happen, this'll be much better since you can install stuff which means expansions are actually expansions and not just separate spin-offs.

does PC have any good exclusives which it can share with consoles? i doubt crysis on console will match online of games currently on the market, and it wont even come near the new releases. as for sims.....why wouldnt i just go on PS Home? better community, new stuff every now and then, talk and interact with REAL people and play minigames. tons of stuff coming out in future like trophy galleries ect.

Sims 2 was good on PS2 and it had co-op, i liked it

Good news, cause my Wii wasn't doing much and hopefully they put as much care in to the Wii as the do all the other platforms.

Wow it's coming for all systems. Id perfer this for the Wii coz of point and click. Besides all my Wii is doing is collecting dust.

Hope its the Sims 3 and not some stupid bare-bones spin-off. Like we had last generation.

Current PC Tech and Cosoles that came out in 2005 and 2006 are not on the same level by any means.

I can't wait for a console sims. The reason they have been so much better on the PC is because they where running on last gen consoles. This generation is equal to it's PC counter parts so we should see a pretty impressive port.....I hope.

Sorry for another comment on the same, but I'd like to add that Sims is it's best on PC, but Bustin' Out was enjoyable and new generation consoles are more powerful and would have more possibilities.

I have Sims Bustin' Out! on PS2, and now I would want a new sims game for my current generation console (X360).

But of course, since developers are either short-sighted or extremely lazy, they don't bother to make any of these games for the Wii. The Sims is basically a sort of point-and-click game, and with its Wiimote, the Wii excels at these sorts of games. It mystifies me how EoR has opted instead to make the game for consoles with regular controllers instead.

i was just about to buy this for pc but kept hoping it would come to ps3, i hope it comes soon! i have the sims on ps2 and brought it back recently to play on my ps3 lol.

It seems to me that the new focus on achieving goals in Sims 3 would translate really well to the console. The open ended sandbox style of the first 2 were fine but not something I could sit on my couch and focus on. I hope they just polish up a nice translation of the Sims 3.

I want the sims to intergrate HOME into the game. Also allow other people to play in my game. like CO OP, online. they can come to my world and interact and i can go to his world and interact. i can see Sony building a whole part for Sims players to meet and link up, and launch into co-op mode.
