EA Community Manager Tweets "#Skate4"

Skate 2 was incredible, best skateboarding game ever made IMO. Skate 3 was ok; it was less geared towards skaters, the plot was lame, the bail goals were stupid, and the mocap and skating in general doesn't look as smooth realistic as Skate 2.

I'm still way down for a Skate 4 though.

Hell Yeah bring us back Skate, and since EA is at it, bring Burnout back ASAP, but don't screw it all up like Need For Speed.

What kinda cock swallowing jjizz minister would tweet something like this and not make "Skate 4"? I mean it would be like offering a starving dog crawling on its belly a steak and just when its like 2 inches away from the steak you punt the poor dog into a near by river.

There's no way we're getting a Skate 4 lol this game is as mythological as Ninja Gaiden 4 Left 4 Dead 3 and Half-Life 3 lol

Will waste their time in making boring repetitive skate games but wont give out another fight night game, this sums EA up perfectly who was wanting this game, Skate games is like a thing you play for an hour or two then you stop playing it forever due to copying and repeating.

I had a friend who makes shirts edit his Tony Hawk one so it'd say "Where the F*** is Skate 4?" instead, so this excites me.

I never buy anything at launch. NEVER! But i will fucking preorder this. Skate 3 servers are down but i want to play skate with freinds. Thats an instant sell

i want skate4 , but its not possible because the team is gone who made the first 3....

Things I want in Skate 4:

• More tricks, including stalls as long as they are as seamless within the control scheme as everything else.

• Weather and day/night cycles. Skating in the rain with realistic sliding could be a fun and engaging challenge

• Falling animations/tighter animations in general. The ragdoll falls in the first three took a sense of realism away.

• Now that most people have mastered the controls, adding a very small stat mechanic could be awesome to feel a sense of progression again. Something like ollie height, speed, push strength, landing stability etc. That way you can't trick down a 20 stair right away. Maybe only a 5 or 6 stair for starters.

• A simple yet refined online experience. Skate 3 suffered horribly from so many different types of online lobbies (ranked, unranked, etc) which divided everyone. Maybe 8 player free roam, where you can start challenges if so desired

• Less arcadey stuff like Hall of Meat. Seeing injuries is cool, but having to do a superman cannonball off a roof is not skateboarding

• The smallest thing but one of my biggest annoyances was the pushing animation that was never addressed in any of the games. The skater always puts his foot up past the board like he would be going for another push, then rests it on the board. It looks super clunky when you notice it

• Manuals would be way more satisfying if the game made them harder to pull off. Once you find that sweet spot on the analog stick, it's an every time thing. Maybe have a dynamic manual location or a low key balance mechanic

I will buy Skate 4. The gameplay for this series is just amazing. It's intuitive, fun, and just feels good to play. I still play Skate 3. Just to imagine Skate 3 with next-gen graphics and some of the kinks worked out, man, that would be awesome!

Awesome, I had a blast with Skate 3, still play it from time to time. I hope this is legit for '17.
