It looks like PlayStation 4 racing game Driveclub is getting a virtual reality edition for PlayStation VR. The Entertainment Software Rating Board recently published a listing for "Driveclub VR" (via IGN), suggesting an announcement of the game may be imminent.

Driveclub developer Evolution Studios closed down last month, with some of its developers joining Codemasters. At the time, Sony said it was directly taking over development on the game, and now, it looks like a VR version is part of the company's plans.

It wouldn't be much of a surprise. In October 2015 at Paris Games Week, Sony showcased a prototype version of Driveclub in virtual reality that some remarked was quite impressive.

"At the moment it's just a prototype," Driveclub director Paul Rustchynsky said at the time. "We don't know what we're going to do with that just yet. If it gets good reception [here at Paris Games Week] which I think it will--I think that could turn into something more than just a tech demo."

We have contacted Sony in an attempt to get more details on Driveclub VR. Check back soon for more.

PlayStation VR launches in October, priced at $400. Sony is also reportedly working on a new, more powerful PS4 that could be announced before October, according to reports.
