Dragon Ball Xenoverse Ships 1.5 Million Copies

Really? If you had told me it shipped 1000, I would have been shocked. How do people still play this rubbish?

Almost the same number of copies pirated by the typical pc crowd.

It's a DBZ game that finally went out of its way to not rehash everything and then allow the players to get directly involved with their own character. This game is DECADES coming. The marketing of this being so new instantly sold the game since people tired of DBZ games for being rehashes years ago. I have so many friends that haven't bought a DBZ game since Tenkaichi or the first Raging Blast willingly come back because of this and all have a blast. I love everything BUT the gameplay. I want Budokai and Burst Limit style gameplay.

It said shipped, not sold. This kind of reminds me of MS.

So it sold more copies in less time than "GOTY 10/10" Cisquisition did.

Still a pretty poor game though.

I don't think any DBZ game will ever top Hyper Dimension :)

So crap sells, what else is new? Anyways. where the hell is the online version of Super Dragon Ball Z with GGPO support?

Shows that people still want DBZ games :D, I hope they make a more classic like game next or one with more dragon ball characters.

That is great news for Dbz enthusiast and even better news for guys like myself who is looking for a solid sequel that will improve on the original.

hehehe..took them by surprise...seems like they didn't have much faith in it...very fun game ..hopes for XenoVerse 2 where they will fix up few issues..like Super Saiyan hair is meant to stand/spike up!!! ..not just will gold/yellow aura ...this is like basic! bigger fight area & more destructible environments...180 turn around needs to be faster..there's like a pause before you turn 180. :P

this game is awesome. a bit lacking in end-game content, but awesome.

i only wish they'd make missions 5 times as dificult as the hardest one available. ANY mission is way too easy in coop. me and a friend beat a non-dragonball-finding mission of the hardest difficulty variety with two lvl 15 characters. that's dumb. it was way more fun when i was struggling to beat the "let's train" mission given by gohan when i was just level 17 or something.

also, i wish they'd increase player HP on versus mode 5-fold. it's ridiculous how one of my attacks kills my friend's character even if he's blocking at full health.

Great game. Some issues here and there (the main one being the servers still aren't perfect) but overall it's an awesome fighting game with lots of customization. It's the exact kind of DBZ game I wanted as a kid.

I'm approaching 100 hours on it myself, just because I want to unlock and do everything. Some moves and items require a lot of farming.

It's on my wishlist but I think I can manage to wait for the "complete edition".

i think this will be one of my summer games when there always seem to be a new games drought
