Minecraft Dungeons, the dungeon crawler Minecraft spin-off that puts adventuring, looting, and combat above building and crafting, is out on PC, PlayStation 4, Xbox One (included in Xbox Game Pass), and Nintendo Switch. Mojang Studios has put a lot into expanding Minecraft's crossplay options over the years so that players can join up in cooperative multiplayer together across different platforms, but does Minecraft Dungeons, co-developed by Double Eleven, also support the popular feature? Here's what we know about Minecraft Dungeons crossplay.

Does Minecraft Dungeons Support Crossplay?

No, but it will soon. Minecraft Dungeons did not support cross-platform play across PC, PS4, Xbox One, or Nintendo Switch at launch, but according to the game's official Twitter account, a crossplay update is arriving on November 17.

Footage of cross-platform support between its PC and various console versions was first shown off in a Minecraft Live event on its upcoming Howling Peaks DLC. It was originally speculated that crossplay and Howling Peaks would launch around the same time, but we now know the DLC isn't due until next month.

Minecraft Dungeons also supports both local and online co-op with up to four players.

Does Minecraft Dungeons Support Cross-Platform Saves?

No, Minecraft Dungeons does not support cross-platform saves or game progress, and there is no word on whether or not it will in the future.
