After a string of leaks and rumors, Bungie has now officially announced Destiny's next expansion. As rumored, it's called The Taken King and launches on September 15.

Like previous Destiny expansions The Dark Below and House of Wolves, The Taken King will have content exclusive to PlayStation platforms. This comes in the form of new gear, a map, and a co-op Strike.
