Cyberpunk 2077 Is Getting A Brand New Lore Book

Hack the planet.

To call Cyberpunk 2077 one of the most anticipated upcoming games would probably be an understatement--and for good reason. Really, who could expect anything less from a game from the developer of The Witcher 3 that lets you partner up with Keanu Reeves and has a prequel table-top game in the works? There's something here for everybody. But A-list actor roles and cross-media promotion are only part of the hype train equation for this one. The world itself, the dangerous and seedy Night City, is massive and populated by all kinds of interesting characters that we can't wait to learn more about.

Thankfully, we won't have to wait very long. Dark Horse Comics has partnered with CD Projeckt Red to develop a brand new lore book, The World Of Cyberpunk 2077, which will hit shelves on April 21, 2020.

In a press release, Dark Horse proclaimed The World Of Cyberpunk 2077 to be a "tome" more than a book, featuring a jam-packed 200 pages covered in everything a Cyberpunk fan could want to know about Night City's history and characters.

"Step into a dark future, where violence, oppression, and cyberware aren't just common--they're necessary tools to get ahead. Explore the various districts, gangs, and history of Night City. Learn all there is to know about the technology of tomorrow and research the cybernetics, weapons, and vehicles of Cyberpunk 2077."

The World Of Cyberpunk 2077 will be available for pre-order for $39.99 at Amazon, Barnes & Noble, Things From Another World, and at local comic shops.
