Call of Duty: Black Ops 4 has brought back its in-game shop, the Black Market. It's launching first on PlayStation 4 on October 19, then following on PC and Xbox One on October 26. It will serve as the central hub for cosmetics and customization throughout Black Ops 4's Multiplayer and Blackout modes.

The Contraband stream is a free progression path for all players to earn new cosmetic gear. It will be swapped out with seasonal Operations rotating roughly every two months. The first one, available today, is Operation First Strike. It offers new Blackout characters, signature weapons, outfits for your Specialists, and tags and gestures. You'll earn progress toward these cosmetic items by playing the game regularly.

Finally, the Black Market store front will update with the Blackjack's Shop in November. That will house premium real-money purchases with limited availability. It will rotate on a weekly basis.

Black Ops 4 is also hosting a Double XP weekend to let you boost your ranks quickly. For more on Black Ops 4, check out our tips for beginners and Blackout perks guide.
