Borderlands 3 Shows Off Its Next DLC Ahead Of Release Later This Month

Borderlands 3 is releasing its third DLC expansion soon, and a chunk of gameplay has been shown off in a new video. The next expansion, Bounty of Blood: A Fistful of Redemption, is western-themed, and will feature new characters (including a narrator) and a Jet Beast Mount. You can see and hear some of those new features in the video below.

The footage shows off some vehicular combat, and highlights some new locations on the desert planet Gehenna, including the snow-covered Ashfall Peaks. The narrator certainly gives the game a more cinematic vibe than it had before.

Bountyu of Blood releases June 25 for PS4, Xbox One, PC, and Stadia. Along with the Jet Beast, you'll be able to find and use the Traitorweed in this expansion, which lets you turn enemies into allies, and the Breezebloom, which helps you jump higher.

The previous expansions for Borderlands 3, included in the Season Pass, were Moxxi's Heist of the Handsome Jackpot and the Lovecraftian Guns, Love, and Tentacles. The game's next update for all players, Takedown at the Guardian Breach, has been delayed.
