Having already created the Xbox Onesie and a pop-up gaming hotel, the Xbox Australia team is back with another wacky Xbox product. Xbox Australia has announced a "greaseproof" Xbox One controller that features a "special coating resistant to grease and oil."

Xbox Australia commissioned the controller to celebrate PUBG on Xbox One reaching its 1.0 state this week, coming out of Xbox Preview and into a full release. What's the connection? Winning a PUBG match gets you a chicken dinner; chicken (can be) greasy, so there you go.

The controller uses PUBG's trademark colours, and is hand-sprayed with a urethane coating that Xbox claims is "impervious to minor scratches, water, and of course, roast chicken grease." As Game Informer's David Milner points out, the urethane coating makes the controller look greasy.

Each controller is individually numbered, and only 200 are being made globally. You can visit the Xbox ANZ Facebook page to find out how you can win one.

This is not Xbox Australia's first PUBG promotion. Earlier this year, the company dropped real PUBG crates in Sydney, Brisbane, and Melbourne.
