Every Wednesday, hundreds of new comic books are released, and figuring out what books are worth reading can be a daunting task. Luckily, we're here to help you out with that. Here are six upcoming issues, in no particular order, you should consider buying on Wednesday, June 29.

Cryptocracy #1

  • Published by Dark Horse Comics
  • Written by Van Jensen
  • Art by Pete Woods

Dark Horse Comics has a new series that dives head first into the world of conspiracies. Van Jensen (The Flash, Green Lantern Corps) pens this new series with Pete Woods (Action Comics) on art. We got an early look at the issue, and it walks the fine line of sanity, in the best way possible. Jensen returns to comedic writing, and that's where he strives. If you're looking for something a bit off-the-wall, this is for you.

Dark Knight III: The Master Race #5

  • Published by DC Comics
  • Written by Frank Miller, Brian Azzarello
  • Art by Andy Kubert

A war is brewing. Batman and Robin are about to take on the Master Race, and an ally will return in this newest issue. This has been an intriguing mini-series, thus far. One of the biggest standouts from the book is the art of Andy Kubert. He's changed up his style to match Frank Miller's art from the previous Dark Knight books. Artistically, this is one brilliant book.

Sons of the Devil #8

  • Published by Image Comics
  • Written by Brian Buccellato
  • Art by Toni Infante

Writer Brian Buccellato has been doing a stellar job on this Kickstarter comic that was picked up by Image. This creator-owned series deals with cults and family, taking place over a long period of time. The book has some great horror elements to it, all while telling a really engaging story. We also get some killer art from newcomer Toni Infante.

Black Panther #3

  • Published by Marvel Comics
  • Written by Ta-Nehisi Coates
  • Art by Brian Stelfreeze

The new Black Panther series deals with T'Challa trying to run a nation while there is an uprising from the Midnight Angels, a rebel group who wants to liberate the country. It's great to see this series continue to be centralized in Black Panther's home country, dealing with T'Challa being a king and a hero. Coates and Stelfreeze are really putting together a memorable run thus far.

Captain America: Steve Rogers #2

  • Published by Marvel Comics
  • Written by Nick Spencer
  • Art by Jesus Saiz

Last month, the Internet flipped its lid when it was revealed Captain America was an agent of Hydra. The follow-up issue to this new volume is going to do a lot of explaining as to why and how this all happened. The cover even says so. Issue #1 was a really interesting turn, and fans of the comic are all waiting on the edge of their seats to find out why Captain America betrayed everything he stands for.

X-O Manowar #47

  • Published by Valiant
  • Written by Robert Venditti
  • Art by Joe Bennett, Roberto de la Torre

The final arc on the long-running Valiant series, X-O Manowar, starts here. A being from space called The Torment has made its way to Earth. X-O Manowar now has to take on a being that may be as old as the universe itself. Since the first issue, this has been Valiant's top ongoing series. Writer Robert Venditti has really crafted one epic space adventure. Although this is the final arc of the book, this is still a great jumping on point.
