Armored Core 4 stomps Japanese PS3s in December

While it has been known for some time that the fourth installment in From Software's Armored Core franchise will be appearing on both the PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360, the timing of its release in Japan was unclear. However, an update posted today on the game's official Web site says the PlayStation 3 version of Armored Core 4 will hit shelves in Japan on December 14, about a month after the PS3 itself. It will support multiplayer for up to eight people via network play. Details for the Xbox 360 version have yet to be announced. Armored Core 4 is scheduled for a spring 2007 release in the US.
