Im really not into strategy/roleplay games but Arc the lad is an ecxeption i was kinda sceptic at first the day i purshased it because all my life all i have played is Final Fantasy, and the Breath of fire series, and the last rpg that i played that i thought was worthy was Final Fantasy X.So i got home and put it in my ps2 and the first hour or so was kinda slow but then it started to pick up and i have to say the battle system was quite cool.But all in all if you are a diehard fan of rpgs you owe it to yourself to get this game it has all the right mixtures of what a good rpg should be, drama, betrayl, love, and it's story is AWESOME its one of the best that i have seen in a good while believe me you cant go wrong with this game so if you are looking for a great game to hold you over til the next final fantasy game go now and buy this wonderful rpg you wont regret it.

  Although good characters and storyline makes this Arc the Lad good lack of special effects make it bland at times.
