There has been worst action games than Advent Rising, but theres also been better as well, it's worth buying.
The Bad: Most of the time Shallow, some technical problems.
If there was a game in the world that caused a lot of smack on Gamespot, it would have to be this one, Advent Rising, for the XBOX, and dang, alot of people liked it, some people hated, and, well, i liked it.
The graphics are pretty good, kinda looks like Halo, a little bit. And the cut-scenes are for some reason better looking than the game it self, the controls are all right, i mean, there was a problem with the d-pad, it seems that selecting weapons and stuff with the d-pad is kinda complicated.
The main character was "OK"
If there was 1 thing we know Advent Rising for, is it's musical score, man, the music is fantastic!!! Allmost every single song is done with perfection.
One thing the game was nitpick for was some technical/buggy problems, and usually, it is buggy, but not all that buggy to kill the main game, i mean, it's not as buggy as RoboCop, for example.
As Far as action games go, There has been worst action games than Advent Rising, but theres also been better as well, it's worth buying, but the thing is, you must be a big action game fan to own and enjoy Advent Rising.
