You'll get your money's worth, but with so many better DS strategy games, your better off leaving this one on the shelf.
This is a generic and boring DS strategy game that, while well priced, is completely forgettable. You start off as the zoo's new manager, and you play around with the animals, putting them in wrong pens and seeing them get eaten (well, sort of). Sounds kinda fun right? Well, I haven't gotten tom my biggest points yet.
Being the zoo manager is as "fun" as it sounds. And that's not a good thing, unless you like working. It's true: The game is like a chore.
You constantly have to please your guests and animals, making for quite a boring time. And if you don't do everything right on time, you'll probably get fined. That is the cold truth.
Graphic wise, this game isn't impressive, either. Everything looks like tiny little blobs. Add to that heinous backround graphics like trees and the animal pens close-up.
All in all, Zoo Tycoon is impossible to recommend unless you love the series or love animals.
Either way, a trip to the zoo is better worth your time.
