This game blows, do not buy it. A platform needs a couple of things to be fun in my opinion. Firstly it needs to have pace. Not necessarily speed, more like a good rythym. Secondly, it needs to flow smoothly, as opposed to being stop-start. And lastly the controls need to be intuitive. This last part is very important. You will find yourself dying consistently in this game, not because of the difficulty, but because you wanted to go left so you pushed left, instead of pressing the left trigger once and then the uber-jump button. The game gives you 20+ lives, and I reckon it is solely to make up for this. This game does not have rythym, it is a sad-40-year-old-trying-to-dance-like-a-B-boy-at-your-brothers-21st-birthday-party kind of game. No rythym, no style and sure as hell not going to impress anyone.
