Zack and Wiki makes great use of the Wii controls and is a good game because of that.

User Rating: 8.5 | Zack & Wiki: Quest for Barbaros' Treasure WII
Zack is a pirate who is searching for pieces of Barboros treasure and to do so he must use tools along the way.

Gameplay

Zack and Wiki is basically a puzzle game and makes you think from time to time. The levels you play have star ratings on how hard they can be and believe me some can be very tricky. When you enter a level you have to solve puzzles to either open a door to get th treasure or sometimes clear whats blocking the treasure like fire or ice. It makes it tricky but fun at the same time. There is a hub world and one of the areas you can buy either tickets to have an extra try from where you left of but they cost alot of gold coins. Coins are your currenecy and you collect them by clicking the pointer on them.

You also move the cursor along to move Zack and sometimes if you shake it he will hit an enemy. Along the way you get tools which are used to solve the puzzles like a chainsaw and a basket. What is cool you use the Wii mote like you would use a normal one so it actually makes you feel like your using one. It really is clever how it comes along. You do get little demonstrations by a man in the corner opn how to use certain items. I do think this game can be a little hard though but some like challenege some don't. Also when Zack does something right he does a dance and gets points which help by giving you a grade or a certain saying of how well you did. Unpuzzleabe is the highest you can get. Sometimes it takes a few trys to do certain levels.

Graphics and Sound

The graphics are nice cartoony graphics which suit the game nicely. The sound is good too but sometimes Wiki can be quiet annoying. Also I think some sounds feel similar to Super Mario Bros sound but thats just me.

Lastability

Quiet along game but you will want to try and get a perfect for each stage.

Overall Opinion

While not amazing it is fun but it can be hard for some. Some of the levels can be quiet hard but the game is a very good 3rd party title which was needed for the Wii. While it can be hard it is also very enjoyable because it does make you think and while you might not do some levels on your first try you will enjoy figuring them out.
