I had followed the development of this title since its start. When the product arrived I found the in-game menu's and graphics to be exactly the same as a Helicopter sim that came out a few months ago(Whirlwind Of Vietnam) which was a complete failure. This tank simulation uses the exact same engine, mission style, and graphics as that title did and it suffers from the same setbacks.Missions are repetitive.Assaults and defenses are the only mission style available and once you have completed destroying the enemy vehicles and at guns the missions abruptly end just like missions in Whirlwind Of Vietnam did.You cannot control other tanks in your platoon and there is no mission editor included as promised. While the tanks seem to function realistically as well as ballistics and the graphics for the most part are superb though shell hits on vehicles seem to consist of only a shiny little indention on the armor where the rounds hit.The Mission structure seems very rushed.Friendly and enemy AI seem lost during battles at times, turning around in circles in front of the enemy only to display their vulnerable back sides and be destroyed in the process while others seem to perform well. Some friendly units do not even advance at all and just sit back in the rear within sight of targets and do not engage.
Since tank simulations are far and few between I suggest buying the title for quick combat but if you desire more flavor with much more to offer I suggest getting Steel Fury when its released.
