I played the last Smackdown! but I never bought it. I bought this one for its improved roster, its improved entrances and improved season mode. This series is much simpler than the wrestling games made by Acclaim and in many way more fun. The controls no longer consist of real combos and just a direction and the circle button usually. The graphics are good but a little too brightly lightened. The music is great when they are entering the ring but while wrestling the rock music can bore you a little. There is a great multiplayer here and an endless season mode, so you should be kept going for a long time. This is the best wrestling game on Playstation One.
