Best Wrestling Game Period

User Rating: 10 | WWF No Mercy N64
WWF No Mercy is a wrestling game for the Nintendo 64 based on the World Wrestling Federation (WWF), Now known as World Wrestling Entertainment (WWE). The game is a sequel to the N64 game WWF WrestleMania 2000. Unlike todays wrestling games which try to hard to be realistic (though that is not a bad thing), in this game the roster is all under your control, you can change wrestlers names, customize their attires (for example letting Big Boss Man wear Mae Young's swim suit or The Rock wear a D-Generation X shirt), make a super small or average sized wrestler extremely fat and heavy (such as Scotty Too Hotty who is average size), give them different hair styles, change their entrance theme to that of another wrestler (an example would be giving Stone Cold Steve Austin The Rock's entrance theme and "Mr. A$$" Billy Gunn's titantron), hell you can even change the skin color of the wrestlers (such as making Undertaker a black man, and Viscera a white man) the results can be hilarious. The story mode allows you to choose a championship to challenge for after getting passed other events to proceed further in the story. Now the roster is one of the best rosters I have ever seen, and the graphics are pretty good for the time and gameplay itself is great as well. But what I would mostly recommend picking this up for is the almost infinite amount of ways to customize the wrestlers into a completely new character. I remember when I would go to my friends house just to play this awesome game. Now here we are in 2012 I was able to get a Nintendo 64 at 2nd and Charles for $40, and I got this and Banjo Kazooie for $10 each, much better than how pricy things are online. I am so glad I can go through the fun this game has offered once again, I also can't wait to get more N64 games (for good prices of course). The only problem with this game is that there is a glitch that rarley occurs but it corrupts your whole data (unless you have a copy where this glitch was fixed, however these copies are very hard to find). But despite that WWF No Mercy is a MUST own for wrestling fans or fans of fighting games, or if you own a N64, you can spend hours thinking of ways to customize your wrestlers.rnOverall: 10/10
