A bit light on content, but that classic Worms formula is still intact.

Worms is light on the strategy and content, but it is fun nonetheless. Don't get me wrong, if you don't plan things out you will get crushed (and even if you do, when reaching the higher challenges) but you don't have to think about class match ups, terrain boosts, or any type of special group combination attacks. Positioning and using your weapons at the right times are the key to winning.

Good:
-The gameplay, while limited by a lack of weapons, is insanely fun at first and still fun when things start to repeat. Most enjoyable with friends.
-I do appreciate a good looking game and this is one of the better looking games on XBLA. The game's style makes the worms so friggin' cute.
-Great sound, the weapons sound good and the little comments the worms make go a long way to add character to the game.
-Simple to play, takes time to master. Learning the best way to use weapons and dealing with the wind takes a bit of time.

Bad:
-A lack of weapons, compared to other Worms games, make this game more repetitive and hurts its lasting appeal. Weapon clones don't help.
-Online play. This game isn't nearly as fun playing with strangers over Xbox Live than with friends, and I encountered some quitters and cheaters.
-Challenges have a ridiculous spike in difficulty. One minute they are a cakewalk and the next they are stupid hard. It doesn't help the computer controlled worms have near perfect aim.

For only 400 mp it's understandable why this game is quite light on the content, but unless you've only got 400 mp and have friends with this game, get Worms 2: Armageddon. It's more robust, and at 800 mp it's not too expensive.
