Great Game, lots of fun, not as many options as previous worms games.
One of the big pluses to this version is the online play. It works really well as long as the host doesn't quit in the middle of the game. There is no lag, but you will have to sit while your opponents take their turn. It makes for a lot of interesting banter as players try to convince you to attack some specific team. You can play local pretty easily and you only need one controller to play with up to four people. So there is a lot of multiplayer fun to be had.
Playing against the computer isn't too bad. They seem to take forever to take their turns sometimes. There is a challenge mode that has 20 stages you'll have to play though. The last few of these are pretty hard. The problem with the computer is they have unbelievable accuracy with their bazooka. However at the same time they will occasionally make a very stupid shot and kill themselves. Its weird.
Since the game has been released there have been a few expansions made available for it. These add some addition stages and more voices for the worms. Though these are both welcomed, the new weapons would have been appreciated more. Still they could come out in the future, but I'm not extremely hopeful.
All in all, it is a good game, not as good as it could be, but still good. It has been one of my favorite XBLA titles since I've downloaded it and moths after buying it I still find myself playing it once in a while. I really feel it is worth buying.
