This classic title deserves better.

I really and truly love "Wolf 3d." It is the first fps I ever played, the first PC game I ever played, and the first game I ever experienced with digitized sound effects. This version is more or less identical to the original PC version, and it has aged wonderfully, with clean and colorful visuals. But I find myself wanting more. Where's the widescreen mode? Where's the filtered mode? Why does no one say "Achtung?" Why does this game look and move substantially better on my Atari Jaguar? Come on, guys-- this game is a bone fide classic. It's the kind of title that should be released like a Criterion Blu-ray, with making-of docs, release timelines and multiple visual options. This version of Wolf 3d is crapped out as a bargain bin product tie-in, and for $5 I'll buy it, but I would have paid more for better.
