The very first Wii game deserves a play after all these years.

What to say? It's nearly perfect. You can play through 5 sports and they are: Tennis, Baseball, Bowling, Golf and Boxing. Tennis is just a normal game of tennis but with 2 people on each side. You can chose how many sets there are: 1, best of 3 and best of 5. The controls are perfect, swing your wiimote. Tennis is a brilliant game that will put your skills to the test. Baseball is, again, a normal game of baseball. Again, you swing the wiimote to either swing your bat or throw a pitch. If you want to put more variety in your throws you can hold A, B or both together. Overall Baseball is my second favourite sport. Bowling is just bowling. You knock down a set of 10 pins and see if youcan get a strike. if you miss, but hit them all afterwards then it's a spare. You swing the wiimote while holding the B button down, the A button to set an angle to add spin and you can press the D-pad to view a close-up of the pins. Golf is just golf but with no opponent. The controls are, yet again, swing your wiimote. I don't hate this game, but I don't like it either. Boxing is my favourite of the lot. You thrust the wiimote and nunchuck forward like you were punching someone. It can get really fun but also really hard. If you are begging for more you can select either a fitness test or training sessions. Training sessions are mini-games based on the 5 main games like punch mitts or 100 pin bowling. This feature is a great addition to the game. Fitness test is basically a test with 4 training sessions in. At the end you are told your fitness age but they are not accurate at all, one minute I was 20 then I was 34 years old. The graphics are good, nothing too spectacular but does the job. Wii sports is a fantastic game, with good graphics, accurate controls, packed with features, solid multiplayer and overall fun but the problems were 1, the fitness test lies most of the time and 2 after you become pro and beat everyone you just face the same people over and over and over again but overall this is a great game that you should just pick up and play.
