When you have the urge to stop in a game, it means the game has failed you, in this review the game failed me.

User Rating: 2.7 | Whiplash PS2
I don't know why I picked up the game, I only remember hearing about it when I was a wee little gamer. Never read reviews, or watched any when I was little. I saw the game at Gamestop for only $5.00, I knew it would be wise to see what reviews the game had gotten but I didn't want to pass up the chance to see it go away. So I bought it, I seriously wish I didn't. 5 out of 5
Story: Whiplash was very funny, the concept , the idea, everything was hilarious. The developers somehow managed to squeeze in a bit of humor in each part of the game. But as Gamespot had said in it's review "chuckles alone aren't enough to carry an entire game" this is oh so true. The story is about a weasel named Spanx and a rabbit named Redmond who is trying to escape the Genron Corporation while causing some destruction by freeing the other animals being tested or simply smashing everything up. Redmond keeps the game entertaining, and Spanx follows his act. This is basically the only good part about the game, THE ONLY GOOD PART.

Gameplay: This is one of the reasons for as to why I stopped playing the game and didn't bother to finish it, the gameplay. When I first started the game I enjoyed attacking humans, smashing everything, and freeing helpless animals. But as time progressed I soon realized I was just doing the same exact thing, over and over and over, just in different enviroments. All the attacks were so repetitive, the smashing was repetitive, the freeing was repetitive, the whole darn game was repetitive. It sickened me, the gameplay got boring real fast, so fast that I wasn't able to finish the game in time.

Graphics: The graphics were not so bad, but there was something that was just downright awful. The GLITCHES! Everywhere I went I saw humans falling through walls, humans flying everywhere, humans walking through humans, it was a complete disaster. I take it back, the graphics were bad. The cutscenes were bad too. For crying out loud, the bunny's mouth was moving up and down like a dead robot when it talked. I could go on about the terrible graphics but I think I have insulted the game long enough, next category.

Sound: It was bad, bad music, bad voiceovers for characters not in cutscenes, ( except the bunny, and the person who talks about merchandise) the whole sound system was bad, my T.V. almost exploded from the awful sound effects. The sound was bad, period.

Overall: Do I seriously have to say it, "THE GAME WAS A PIECE OF JUNK, I SHOULD HAVE SPENT MY MONEY ON LAUNDRY SOAP THEN THIS SICKENING GAME" I played this game and reviewed it so you didn't have to, so don't buy a copy, if you had I'm sorry I didn't warn you sooner.
