If you loved part 3, there's a great chance you're going to hate part 4.

I didn't think it was possible to screw up Virtua Tennis 3, but Sega has truly one-upped their failure of Virtua Tennis 2009 with an even bigger failure: Virtua Tennis 4. Virtua Tennis 2009 is ACTUALLY better than this game, and considering how bad that game was, that is NOT good. The only good things I liked about it were the minigames (sort of) and the graphics (looked a little better). The movement and reflex times of the players are HORRIBLE, the grunts are still poorly protrayed, online is extremely cheesy, and the World Tour has been turned into a board game of chance. All Sega had to do for this game was take the engine of part 3, add some new players, new courts, and enhance the World Tour to be somewhat like Top Spin 4's. I honestly think Sega should stop with this series, because they have royally jacked up for the second time in a row, and no amount of patching or fixing is gonna make this game more fun to play. If you played Virtua Tennis 3 extensively (World Tour, Online, everything), then it'll be easier to understand why Virtua Tennis 4 is a HUGE letdown.
Bottom line: Virtua Tennis 4 vs. Virtua Tennis 3 (or Top Spin 4)?
