Defenantly not the best fighting game on the PS2 but its is one of the best to come along in some time

Throughout the years there have been two trademark fighting game series that have dominated the 3D fighting genre.These two trademark series are Tekken and Virtua Fighter and even though that Virtua Fighter 4 Evoloution can be frustrating at times it is still a fun game and still remains one of the best fighting games on any platform.Now a days VF4 Evoloution si part of sony's greatest hits collection and anyone who plays this game will agree that it belongs in there because it is one of sony's greatest hits. In VF4 Evoloution you can play with any of the 15 selectable characters in VF4 Evoloution meaning that Sega has added 2 new characters.One of the new characters is a thug style kick boxer Goh Hinogami and Brad Burns.This pretty much makes the VF4 Evoloution a perfect cast of characters that include veterans like the martial artist skilled in the fighting style of the Prey Mantis Lion Rafale,a shamen preofessional wrestler - Wolf and many others.For some of the characters who made there debut in the previous Virtua Fighter game like the Shaolin Monk Lei-Fei they have a few new moves along with some of the veterans who already have a wide range of attacks to do battles with. The main difference between Virtua Fighter and Tekken is that in Tekken you don't necessarily have to be a skillfull player to win matches and you can pretty much button bash to win matches but in Virtua Fighter you have to be quite skillfull to ace the game especially with VF4 Evoloutions new and improved story mode which is longer,more unique and alot more difficult which makes VF4 Evoloution a more solid story mode gameplay than its predicesor's.But Virtua Fighter 4 Evoloution is an extremely difficult game and i suggest that rookies should defenantly check out the practice mode because its the quickest way to master all of the attack especially for those who are interested in playing with Akira Yuki who has a move set that is particularly hard to master. VF4 was pretty much the perfect fighting game for any beat 'em up style fighting game fan and VF4 Evoloution is alot better.To make a long story short the Story mode has dramatically improved and so has the gameplay.The graphics are superbly done and the game will last you about 6 weeks and the only thing about the game thats a bit flawed is the sound but overall Virtua Fighter 4 Evoloution is a awsome fighting game.
