@sahandx360 You start matches by flying in on a dropship. The Titan combat takes up most of the exposition. Fracture map did have some cracks in the ground that would spew dirt. Stuff like that. The levels didn't change or destruct on the two maps we saw.

@xxreclaimerxx Yea we were playing on early builds for about 3 hours and it was 60-FPS non-stop on an Xbox One. It didn't crash once either.

@monstachruck Worth mentioning, you do punch each other a lot. There were sometimes moments where 2 Titans would team up on 1 and almost beat them up school-yard style. It's pretty funny.

@monstachruck We only saw the Atlas titan and it didn't have that below level ten. In the trailer we saw another titan do a punch counter and beat a titan to death with its own arm though.

Do the bots have different abilities than the players? The Dev said having more players would ruin the gameplay, but don't bots technically act as more players?

@MasterTheHero The bots can't call or get into Titans, and I'm 99% sure they never have jetpacks either. They don't have the same suits as the pilots (players) so you can kill them much quicker.

@MasterTheHero The bots are more target practice at this point. They are only dangerous if you do something really stupid like reload while standing in front of one. The 6v6 feels about right on the Fracture and Angel city maps because you are in continuous combat.

@djpetitte The bots act like a reward system more than a threat. It gives you something to do while traveling and reduces your Titanfall countdown timer.

All this talk about the 6vs6 being bad because 'it's not 64 on 64' is dumb. Different amounts suit different games/playstyles/maps. More =/= better in all cases. There are plenty of games that are better played with a small amount of people as to a large amount. Just how some games benefit from being long while others are better short.


All this standardizing of something that cannot be standardized is nonsense. Not every game is better if it lasts 30 hours, not every game is better if it focuses on being repayable and not every game is better if it supports a large amount of people online. You really don't know what you're talking about if you claim so.

Titanfall is going to be badass; there's no denying that. But which system will the game sell the most on? The game may be hyped up like crazy on Xbox One but let's not forget about the PC version as well. My only gripe right now? The AI; I've seen very few developers with this sort of tactical game get the bots perfect outside of Team Fortress 2 and Killzone. Hopefully Respawn is up to the challenge!!!

@masterace202 The last time you were able to drive anything outside of a killstreak in CoD was World at War. There was a level with a tank on it that you could drive around.
