The core gameplay plays like CoD man.... even when you're in the mechs it just feels like an over-sized person. They didn't even give it a proper mech feel, they was probably thinking we should make CoD with the mario mushroom but then they thought why not just make them go on robots that play just like the person with some power shield or barrier n shiet that was could have just easily have put on the regular sized character.

@Joedgabe There are 2 types of shooters. ones where you can use grenades to propel yourself across the map, and ones where you can't. CoD is the latter.

See this can convince me, not every day articles from the dev explaining his actions, good or bad, just show me the game and let me decide if it's good or not, given I haven't played it so my decision is still in the air until I play (hopefully I get into beta). Anyway this is way better than a bunch of articles.

@Bread_or_Decide I think that's a valid complaint, but not every game needs single player, nor they always need multiplayer. I think devs should do what they're best at. If they can't make compelling single player experience then don't waste resources on that and make the best possible multiplayer, same other way around.

Anytime someone refers Call of Duty, Battlefield or Titanfall as "FASTPACED", i just wanna facepalm so hard.


Quake Live. It's hundred times more fasterpaced than any of those games, and it has been around already since 2000, only going by the name Quake3: Arena.


Again with the lies. 2003 C&C Renegade already had vehicles and 2007 Mirror's Edge already had the "acrobatics" seen in this game. This is nothing more than a CoD with mechs because the GAMEPLAY is same. Stop, aimdownsights, automatically heal in safe location.

@quakke kids nowadays would flip their shit if they saw how awesome and fast quake is. Popularity is down on the arena shooter because you really need a mouse for the response time

The point was to point out that all these "innovations" Titanlfall is doing, have already been done back in the nineties already. Mech Warrior did mech gameplay back in the late 90's, and Tribes did the jetpacks in 1998. So this game really is not doing anything new nor good. Same old 2007 Call of Duty bulletsponge noob gameplay.
