I'll just say that I'm happy with my Wii U basic model for it's color. That's right, I said it's COLOR. I purposely passed up the deluxe model on launch day because I thought the white one looked loads better than the black one. The bickering over hard drive space is just silly. I bought a 1 TB USB Hard Drive for $69 and never looked back. I have 25 games to date, 33 if you count virtual games. Of all the games I own, only 6 are on disc. I'm never going to understand why everyone makes such a big deal about the storage when the problem is VERY EASY to solve. Both models can be connected to two 2TB USB hard drives simultaneously for a grand total of 4 TB of storage!! And data can be swapped between each drive. What more could you want?

Anyhow, it kinda makes me sad to see the white model being phased out. But at the same time, I'm glad that I got one. Because those of us who own one not only have the coolest looking color now, but it's our little piece of collectable history to show that we were here in the beginning supporting a very good system that has a very undeserving bad rap.

it feels like nintendo aren't allowed to do anything without someone slating them i personally won't get a 2ds because it's clearly made for kids but it's still a good idea, no hinge makes it harder to break and no 3d is good because it can be bad for kids eyes. as for lack of games between now and christmas nintendo have a bunch of Wii U games coming out at least one exclusive a month and as far as i know all the major 3rd party games except GTA 5 ?

and with sony it's silly to say but of course it's going to take a few years to show it's full potential this happens with every console ? remember how shit the first bunch of 360 and ps3 games looked ?

Got to love Nintendo, I dont see why people only want a two horse race you dont go to you local supermarket and just want a choice of two of each product you want a range. The more choice and competition the better it is for the consumer we get better product and companies have to work harder for our hard earned money use your heads.

I've BEEN wanting a 2DS since the 3DS came out 2 years ago. I didn't want to pay extra for a gimmicky feature that I was never going to use.

The 3d function of the 3ds is useless. So I totally welcome this. It's 40$ less and ditches the function I hated.

It is a lot cheaper than a 3DS, I seen at EB Games Australia its only $148 so this one will be for the kids that want a handheld to play 3DS and DS games on.
