Im a Playstation gamer, and this is quite fasinating!..

Maybe if they play their cards right, i might look into this mini console next to my Ps4.

This mini computer is a great idea and in my opinion is the path consoles should take. being modular is awesome. instead of buy a new system every 5 years we could just simply build upon our current one.

the question is.. can it run crysis or battlefield

Something you might want to mention is the form factor doesn't support graphics cards or even mobile GPUs, just integrated graphics.

Making it about as useful for gaming as a netbook.

Fascinating, very powerful for a small device. I bet it'll be pricey given the specs details. I always thought Maxwell had blue eyes, they looked green here, maybe it was the screen, anyway this should increase pc sales.

@Matt_Wetner It'll run Linux, most likely Ubuntu.  So the answer for Battlefield and Crysis will almost certainly be a big "no" from EA.

But OpenGL is more powerful than DirectX in nature, so it's not limited in that sense.

@naryanrobinson @Matt_Wetner True, but maybe wine could be improved to make Windows games run on Linux WITHOUT ea having to port it ;)
