GS News - MGS V: Ground Zeroes Censored, Titanfall 2 Coming To PS4?
How much might you be paying for PS4’s virtual reality? Will Titanfall come to PlayStation 4? Are Nintendo on the verge of hardware success? Find out!
by Edmond Tran on
I would pay $0 for a virtual reality devise, maybe just maybe, I would be interested in such device a decade later, when the technology's limitations and potentials have been explored in depth, resulting in a more solid product.
buying a virtual reality devise today would be like buying a ford model T when it first came out, yeah it was cute, it was a great first step that changed history, but that car sucked bananas when outperformed by later models some decades later. so yeah I would hold it til the mustang of virtual reality devises comes out.
OK, stuff that Perter Molyneux spouts out his mouth really needs to stop being treated as legitimate news. The man misleads people constantly about his own games, plus he hasn't made a single worthwhile one in decades. Yet it's like he's being treated as a gaming guru, with every prediction and advice he speaks being given an entire article or, in this case, talking point.
Please, stop acting like this man has so much credibility. He really, really doesn't.
Beginning of the end started with the Nintendo Wii Sure it sold alot but that also might have been its downfall as well. Everyone had it ad no one played it so maybe people also think that since they never played their Wii why buy another? I was a Nintendo Fanboy and still enjoy their exclusives but if they dont get their heads out of their asses it will be the end for Nintendo home consoles
call of mechs didnt sell like ms expected
EA prety mad right now they wished they could released the game on the superior console with ofc the superior numbers...ps4
next time EA think before acting...no wonder worse company in america for 2 years...always crap decisions
Even though EA owns the rights to TF, it's still not a slam dunk to come to the PS4.
EA could us this as leverage to see what MS is willing to pay to keep it a exclusive! So this all boils down to very simple math.
It is a shame the original Titanfall wasn't on both consoles.
The game was unique, and surprisingly good (I really dislike CoD games)- and I feel that this was drowned out by the usual stupid system-war bickering.
Hopefully the system wars won't have completely removed the will of PS4 owners to try the game out.
Guarantee you will hear about Titanfall 2 at E3 2014! They have probably already working on it and YES, it will be on PS4!
So... with all the titanfall 2 rumors i expect a release in 3 months time yes? no?
then stop talking about bloody titanfall 2!
Of course Titanfall 2 will come to PS4. Respawn would be out of their minds to ignore the PS4 community twice. I mean it is simple math. Why would they shun what will most likely be 10-12 million PS4 owners by Holidays 2015?
I mean there is always the possibility that MS buys up the TF license, but I don't think Respawn would want to be under the umbrella of another massive company again! No matter to me, I own both systems, so whatever!!
Ive said it for years, only Sony and Nintendo have true exclusives that you can only play on that one machine, and as a PlayStaion gamer through and through I have no interests in this Titanfall franchise, if I wanted to play inside bots, I'll pop Killzone 3's multiplayer on, or just whack in Armored Core on.
I don't know how much I'd pay for a VR game headset, but I know which games I'd want to try it out in Skyrim for sure. That would be quite amazing.
"Titanfall 2 Coming To PS4"
Or how to turn 80% of those Sony fanboys hating inte their biggest fans...
At the moment, I would not pay more than a €100 for a VR game headset....in 5 years time, we shall see
i couldn't help but laugh when the last part of the video came on with how Nintendo is going to suddenly turn everything around.. given how bad they been doing it would take a lot, far more then they can do to suddenly help the Nintendo brand... as for the Sony VR helmet thing.. i'd pay $0 dollars cause i have no interest in virtual reality for gaming.. i like games on a regular controller and TV just fine.
i doubt MS will let titanfall 2 get away been as titanfall has been such a success, as for a VR head set i dunno, i dont think its gonna work. not because its sony, i dont think any VR headset will take off Its gonna be like 3d tv, a novelty that barely ever gets used so i guess i would pay £100, untill then ill pass
Too bad - I was pretty optimistic about Nintendo's future, but now Molyeneux says they'll be fine I'm not so sure...
Maybe my memory is bad, but back when the PS3 and 360 launched, I don't remember seeing articles about how the ps3 may be behind in sales but because of the higher price tag is making way more money. Or articles about how this is more of a sales "marathon".
i think VR is just not ready, give it a few more years down the line, just that companies and people who wanna get rich quick are trying to market something which will have problems in the long run, i.e constant firmware patches, hardware issues etc. I also think that people who would buy this would be only using it as an entertainment option, for example when you have friends over or the odd occasional parties etc, it wont be used constantly for gaming (i mean who the hell is gonna wear this for 2+ hours on their head for general gaming or competitive), nor will their be many games opted in for VR gaming upon release and a long way down the road after release, a firm example are the ps4 and xbone, no good releases and are clearly not even next gen games... (if you think titanfall was next gen its not just a COD in disguise same goes for MGS5 just a dlc game-play hence why price dropped)... in terms of price it would be overly priced more than a ps4 and at that stage only idiots would buy into it... just not worth anything over 180.00
I'd spend no more than $300 for the device, and that would be only after knowing that it will have some seriously good support.
But Sony & Oculus Rift need to focus on the casual audience too. Their cap will most likely need to be $200, maybe even $250 at the absolute most, but these prices seem extremely unlikely.
I'm not sure how much I'm willing to pay for a VR headset, it depends on what I'm getting. For the Oculus Rift I might pay up to $300 or $400, but for Sony's headset considerably less when I don't have a PS4.
I heard a rumor that Nintendo is working on their next gen system and it will use an x86 architecture processor and will be at least 3 times as powerful as a PS4 (that may likely change/increase). It overall sounded pretty awesome, so I'm hopeful that Nintendo will get it right in the next console generation.
Wii U --
I'm hoping for a Wii U 2, sooner than later.
The one big mistake with the Wii U, for me, was that grossly under-powered CPU. Make a Wii U 2 that is as or more powerful than the PS4 and everything would be nice, I think.
Virtual Reality Headset--
I don't know how much I would pay. I'm really in no need of becoming nearsighted sooner than I have to, then pay corrective eye surgery either.
I'm sure it's a big winner for all those who want it. I'm sure they'll make more money if it's released on more platforms, but I'll never buy it.
Metal Gear Solid Ground Zeros get some censorship in Japan. One more reason to want to buy it elsewhere--it must be good.
Jessica -- I love it.
I love that shirt. The black is so beautiful and the decal colour goes perfectly with your eyeshadow.
Thank you Jess.
This is why I(one of the reasons):
And MSG GZ is selling 63% on PS and 27% on both Xbox's .That's called b***kicking...
@MarcRecon Very good analysis of the situation. Although Respawn entertainment may have a very strong say in what happens to their franchise. The fact is that MS would have to pay a great deal for EA and Respawn to leave all that money on the table from cross console sales.
I'm right there with you dude, I already got a PS4! I'll be picking up an XB1 in the near future... so I'll be playing TF sooner or later! lol
@DeanoFantasy you're cheating yourself......Titanfall is legit!
@bk2fut You know. €100 would be indeed a great price.
@kovaras1984 MS would have to buy up the TF franchise to keep it off the PS4!!! Doubt Vince Zampella and the rest of Respawn want to be under the umbrella of a massive company again!!!
@kovaras1984 EA loves money, so MS would have to fork over close to the equivalent of what EA would lose by not making it multi-platform next time around.
@madjack1812He said this, not long ago Michael Pachter said "It is not too late for Wii-U" So yeah, maybe they are doomed already.
@Findy37564 SPOILER FREE EXPLANATION BUT AT YOUR OWN RISK:
(Remember certain video tape within the game?)
POTENTIAL SPOILER OVER
@ZIMdoom You don't? Because I sure do.
@ZIMdoom give me a break.
@jameshubert12 give me oculus 4 with 4k resolution, zero lag, and zero motion sickness..and the ability to watch movies and tv shows as well as use it for games and it'd be worth thousands of dollars.
People pay ten grand for tv's that encompass more than your field of view..why and how on earth could they make VR as good as we need it to be and then charge only $180 for it?
Wii U --
I'm hoping for a Wii U 2, sooner than later.

I agree here, especially the fact it ran only at 480p (barely on most things). Nintendo should hopefully have something to actually hit the HD game play, and should be very powerful (hopefully not using the ATI and AMD garbage that the other 2 consoles used) just goes to show Nintendo are still in the game, just not what everyone expected...some people who have already bought the ps4 and xbone may come to realise that upon Nintendo's release they may or could have made a mistake... dunno just my opinion really...
Thanks.....I kinda look at the business model in gaming as similar to the music industry. An artist might create a song but he doesn't necessarily own the rights to it UNLESS those issues where work ed out with the record company before the contract was signed.
So in this case with respawn, they created TF but the don't own all of the rights to it.
