Wonderful vampire atmosphere, partially ruined by bad implementation

I'm a huge fan of the "Vampire: The Masquerade" pen and paper gdr so I was really excited by this game when it came out.
On one hand, I've found this game have annoying bugs (which weren't fixed due to the Troika departure), irritating combat system and playin it I had the feeling the last part of this game was rushed off: in fact the best moments for me were in the early part.
On the other hand, this game recreates perfectly the vampire gdr atmosphere: on the background you'll really feel the sophisticated political disputes between the various vampire clans, some npcs personalities are well written and the overall plot is good.
This game could have been treated much better than this: with these great storyline premises, a better software implementation could have made Bloodlines a truly gem.
