How to start.... well i played it in the middle of 2009 out of sheer boredom, TOO Many Stereotype FPS(aka too much like CoD), RPG's (With magic and combat and blah blah blah old style Fantasy which got old), RTS that totally in-exists, and don't come up with Stacraft 2 which Blizz is holding it to late 2010, Red Alert 3 disappointing, and many other games that i got bored.

So one of my friends says he played this game and its like Elder Scrolls 4: Oblivion only a few ... minor... differences, or a lot more differences :P

So installed with patch cos i heard lots of bugs about it. And started with the Character Quiz.... watts that ? if you're new to RPG's or to this game specifically its hard too chose winch Race(or clan) too go for so this Test will ask a few question with "Watt would you do if.... " and respond so that he may decide watt race(clan) you should be.
A little HOT cut scene with you and another dude/chick depending on watt gender you chosen, having a little.... private moment }:) and apparently he/she is a vampire and he/she "Embraces you" or makes you vampire, now don't be afraid it may be direct but things get a little twisted, a group of people storm the room and stab both of you with with wooden stakes, you don't die you just paralyze and wake up in a Theater were a bunch of Vampire people come too see the show, a guy in a nice suit by the of name "Prince Sebastian LaCroix" a little conference the one ho made you vampire is executed for making you vampire and you are lucky to be spared after a rise up from "Nines Rodriguez" ho doesn't like the Prince one bit. You leave the theater and you're on you're journey to the unknown.

Ok so lets just say the game has an not good... not greet... but Awesome Story! and you're decisions count very much weather you go berserk and kill all, or try and discuss the matters or just blend in shadows one thing is for sure you must not reveal you're self too the world or you break the "The Masquerade" and thing won't go well if you break it like having Vampire Hunters on you or even the Society of Vampires know as The Camerila. And there are moments were you can be good or bad like Stealing money from a Charity box or giving to a homeless "watts the use ?" well unless you want to go Frenzy when you don't want to and even violate the The Masquerade you should keep you're humanity in check by being good or bad.

Well to make things simple its a buggy game, with Glitches, and a NPC is not there or didn't come out and stuff, combat is imbalanced but i recommend you got 1st with Unarmed with Fists, then Melee with Katanas, Baseball bats, fire axe and so on and last Firearms with nice stuff Desert Eagle, Aug Stug, shotgun Uzi and many other i say firearms last cos you need ammo and you get ammo only by buying and too buy you need money and you can only get money from Quests, Optional Quests and a few occasions you find in boxes and other places.

Graphics are actually nice for its time, but more impressive is the animations, i like to see people move a bit in Dialogs not like in Oblivion were they talk like robots.
AI is a bit lackluster do they occasionally take cover if they are ranged and some use they're abilities. Boss fights are a bit poor but don't think they won't kill you! they have nasty damage and lets not talk about "Aggravating Damage".

Audio with its Music is nicely polished and Troika even added a radio station do it repeats a bit often, there is also TV witch only has news but it says some of you're actions like "A warehouse has been blown to bits" "A terrorist attack on LaCroix Corporation" and so on do again it repeats itself.

I think i said lots of things by now and if i didn't bore you to death you still probably ask "WTF or ho is Cain?" ok well to put is simple he is the Great Great Great .... Great Grandfather of Vampires and silly enough is actually Cain from Bible you know "Cain and Abel... Cain killed Abel the was exiled" and stuff, he had 13 sons which were the formers of the Vampire Clans. They may also refered to as the "Antediluvian's" im not spoiler so i won't say exactly watt it means.

Just one more thing the story is far to big to be explained. So if you wanted to be an 'Authentic' Vampire without cheesy crap with ultimate powers and stuff, yes you get cool power's don't worry but its just more immerse not direct like other games. And how an old friend named Jack once said " Forget that Comic book crap things are different here". and you dunno how right he is :P, so Vampire fans or RPG fans get this i recommend it .
