Just what I needed...

It's very refreshing to play an RPG on a handheld and feeling that nothing was held back. Valkyrie profile was well made as a console game, and nothing was sacrificed for this portable version. In fact, there are a number of added CG cutscenes throughout the game. The 2d sprites also look great, and their animations look nice as well. The fighting is not terribly complex and is very fun. My only beef with this game is some of the voice acting is kinda bad, but I think it was that way on the PSone. I would recommend this to anyone that played the first game or anyone craving a portable RPG with decent production value. Honestly, games like this are the reason I sold my DS and kept my PSP.
