Sure the graphics are dated, sure it's mindless hack and slash....But it's a lot of fun! Not for spoiled players.

As Pickels from Dethklok once said, " Tell them to lower their expectation!"
Having said that, if you're looking for a huge quest oriented hack and slash, free roaming, D & D esque game then this is a good game.
Forget the graphics aren't great, forget there are a few minor glitches, because underneith it all is a huge world to explore, people to talk to, and a lot of quest to do.
You can build your character up to your fancy, whether you prefer warrior, wizard, priest, or rogue, it's all up to how you alot you abilities and buy your equipment. There are a lot of choices for character design.
There is also tons of weopons and armor choices, the biggest I've seen since I played Diablo one. Weopons, armor, rings are stackable when combined with like copies, making them more pwerful. You can add magic to your weopons too. There is potion creation too, with ingredients scattered everywhere...and it's super simple
Unlike Oblivion horse travel is useful and a lot of the times necessary. Although the horse navigating can be a bit annoying at times, I know I couldn't do better myself in the real world......so who am I to complain. There are teleporation devices scattered throughout the world, and early one you can get some very useful portable teleportation devices that allow you to teleport to any fixed teleporter in the world.
The game also lets you choice which factions you will side with, it's up to you to decide which one is right and wrong.
I know the dialogue is horribly cheesy, but for me it added to the charm, and I couldn't help but laugh everytime my character burst out in a hearty roar after killing a foe.
If your one of the more spoiled gamers who want graphics that are totally next gen, who want the perfect game, and who has forgotten just how to have fun and enjoy a simple adventure then this game may not be for you.
If you just want a big world full of creatures to kill, places to explore, and don't care if the graphics are in between last gen, and next gen systems then this game is a lot of fun. Just have fun with it and except it for what it is.
If the game has a fault is that it is too easy. Explore the world enough and your character will become so powerful most monsters can be dispatched with one or two arrows. I wish I had played on the hardest difficulty.
