The Twisted Metal franchise is one of the most fun and unique of them all.The first Twisted Metal game was one of the most unique games when it was released.And now its sequal Twisted Metal 2 is no doubt a groundbreaker.Twisted Metal 2 not only outclasses most shooting games but it outclasses alot of the PS1 games and a few PS2 games.Rarley in a PS game the characters have there own personality's but Twisted Metal 2 does.Some of the opposing characters are aggressive and some aren't making you want to go after some and keep away from the others.Another good feature is that the CPU-controlled characters don't only go after you they go after each other also giving the game a element of realistic gameplay. The gameplay mechanics are pretty much the same as the original Twisted Metal game exep there are a few more usable weapons,there are alot more playable characters and there are 8 different explorable levels.You might of noticed that in Twisted Metal 1 that all the levels were basically the same well in Twisted Metal 2 the environments in Twisted Metal 2 are based on actual locations and some of the levels are Los Angeles,Hong Kong,Moscow even Antarctics,Paris France,Holland and also the lava ruins of Amozonia.A nice effect is when you destroy your opponents and they turn into a chunk of fiery wreckage which can be very entertaining! Twisted Metal 2 has a total of 10 default characters and each of them have there own unique way to torture you with there special attacks.Some of the Twisted Metal veterans include Mr.Grimm,Sweet Tooth,Minion and Warthhog.Some of the newcommers are Grasshopper,Twister and Mr.Slamm plus alot more.
