This game is great. This was one of the best games during the times of PS. Axel and Mr. Grimm all the way!

To begin, this game is just plain fun. It's a game you play for hours, with or without a friend, and not something you really have as a primary game. I mean, it's just about finishing the game, which is ok just for something to do once in awhile. I mean, it's not like FFX or DMC3/ DMC3: SE where you can increase your stats, gain new abilities, collect a few collectible, but sometimes, you don't want all of that. This is a great game for anyone looking for a week or two of thrill and action, or if you're bored of your current games waiting for FFXII to come out. Axel and Mr. Grimm own this game!

For the serious review...
Gameplay: Great! Fast-paced, lots of action going on, and if you wanted to, you could even implement some strategy *gasp*! You drive around, collecting weapons, health, ammo, etc. while battling your opponents (who due to the AI's skill, or their lack of, will outnumber you in sometimes ridiculous amounts), all the while surviving. If you have a friend, you won't unlock the ending cinema for that char., but it will be much more fun, and much easier on Minion and Dark Tooth (you can unlock Minion while at the char. select by pressing L1, Up, Down, Left, and Sweet Tooth is I think Up, L1, Triangle, Right).
Graphics, ahhh... ummm... well, they aren't that good, but since this game came out in 96, it's somewhat excusable. Many things are 2D, including many chars. The buildings are actually usually better graphically than multiple chars.
The sound is simply great. Not awe-inspiring, not bad, or even just good. Lvl one's music is addictive, other than that, just great. The sound effects are usually good, sometimes funny, in the case of screams (no, I'm not psychotic). There are even voices in this PS one game!
Value, great. This game is awesome for only being $20. Get it, unless you have a vendetta against violence IN GAMES, you pacifists. Violence in reality is wrong, but violence in games, come on, that's fun.
My tilt, high. This game is great, buy it! Other than the visual flaws, it's awesome.
