Welcome back, Deception!

User Rating: 6.3 | Trapt PS2
As a fan of the original "Deception" series from the PS, I was excited to think they would be bringing it to the PS2. Alas, it wasn't all I expected.

Good points:
- Carries on the trap-setting/murdering aspect of the series
- New and somewhat original rooms and room traps
- Just plain fun to kill innocent (and not-so-innocent) invaders
- Special room traps for instant kills

Not Necessarily Bad Points, But Not Good Ones Either:
- Similar traps to the earlier games, perhaps with a few new ones
- Decent number of people to slaughter
- Very few times to change how the story will progress
- Almost predictable ending

Bad Points:
- Fairly Dry Storyline, Lack of interesting dialogue
- Lack of Good Voice Overs
- Sometimes sub-par graphics
- Extensive loading times

This game should basically be played strictly for its fun value. It's just fun to kill people and upgrade your traps, but this game has very little as far as depth and story. Overall a decent game, though not really worth the price. Rent it or wait until it drops to around $20.
