Gameplay 9: The gameplay on THPS 4 is just as fun and exciting as ever. You can play the career mode, multi-player, or even create your own skater or park. The career mode is certaitnly the highlight of the game. The career mode has you doing various tasks and things as you proceed across mutliple levels. Most of the tasks include, collecting things for people in a certain amount of time, getting a high score, or simply doing a certain special move. There are tons of tricks to do, and pletny of extras to purchase with the money you obtain from doing the certain missions. Of course after awhile the skating action gets flat out boring, because there isn't much variety to it after awhile. Still the career mode takes a long time to finish, and is a lot of fun for the most part throughout the whole game. Graphics 7: The graphics in this game are for the most part very dissapointing for a PS2 game, even when the game was first realeased. A lot of things look extremlly unrelalistic, and there is not much detail in the facial expressions of the people either. Sound 6: This game sounds for the most part pretty bad. The music pieces are dumb and not very good, and the people's voices sound stupid and annoying as well. Value 10: This game will take you a long time to finish, and there is a lot of extra stuff to do as well. Overall 8.6/10 Despite having awful sound and graphics, THPS4 makes up for it with fun gameplay, and a long and satisfying career mode. This game is good, and nayone who likes skateboarding games should definetly go buy this.
