A good game worth getting and playing, as well as trying over a few times

When I first saw the videos and previews for Spirit Tracks, I was amazed and equally excited for a new chapter in the Zelda storyline. It turns out it was pretty much worth the wait.

Spirit Tracks is a direct build-on of Phantom Hourglass, which proved Zelda can be for the DS and can work well. All the controls are almost identical, with a few exceptions. Of course, Spirit Tracks brings new items and weapons which adds to the fun.

The graphics of the game are the same, cell-shaded type that have proved themselves on Phantom Hourglass and Wind Waker. These easily and nicely fit into the DS' screen and graphic capabilities. Sometimes though, the frame rate does suffer when to many enemies are around while riding the train.

The new range of sounds are nice and clear, as well as different from PH. Link has a new voice, and with the train - all the sounds are different. Just blowing your horn will make you laugh and smile with fun!

Difficulty was a lower in this case, and while Nintendo got rid of most of the back tracking to the forbidden "Ocean Temple", Spirit Tracks still is shorter than its predecessor. This is balanced by the fact that there are much more side quests, minigames, and deliveries of passengers and freight.

Overall the game is another good installment in the Legend of Zelda series, and for $30-$35, its worth adding to your collection, whether big or small.
