The legend of Zelda series took a huge step to the 3-D realm and came out smelling like roses.

You finally got a Nintendo 64 and the first game you got was Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of time. You squeal with anticipation and you get the System hook up. You pop the game in and stare at the gorgeous graphics. The music sounded familiar but better.

This was my first experience playing the game. It was great and stood against the test of time. The game is still lengthy, very difficult, and have some of the best music you will ever hear.

The graphics may not look much today but they were great. The first Legend of Zelda in 64 bits graphic. Everything is pretty detailed and Link look great for 64 bits.

The environment is huge and there is much to explore. The towns were bigger and the dungeons were great.(not including the infamous water temple.) Much was hidden in the vast land of Hyrule. You will be exploring the land trying to find all the secrets.

The music went to a huge upgrade. The old Legend of Zelda music was great and memorable. Imagine that multiplied by four. Link grunts whenever he attacks one of the many gorgeous monsters. Link arsenal got their own effect.

The story is kind of similar. You are Link from a village filled with kokiri. You had a dream of Ganon chasing Zelda but Impa was trying to get her away.
The great Deku tree tells Link his destiny.

The game took a drastic change going into 3-D. The combat was re-imagine and thankfully it plays great. The combat feel fluid and every weapon feels natural. With the transition to 3-D added more unique puzzles that are nice and challenging.

The game will last you for hours and days. The game is pretty challenging.

Pro:
Long
Difficult
Plenty to explore
Combat feels fluid
Puzzles are great.

Con:
Some may not like the 3-D transition.

It's a great game and you can download it for Wii Virtual console. There is no reason not to buy this.
