Legend of Zelda Majoras Mask can be a difficult Zelda game to get into but if you can its a quality title.
Story
Young Link is searching with Epona until he comes up to Skull kid who then takes Epona and the Ocarina off him. While chasing him down he is turned iunto a Deku Scrub. He comes across a mask salesman who needs him to retirieve this mask. Link manages to claim the Ocarina of Time back off Skull Kid but the problems are only just beginning. It's a mask known as Majoras Mask which is the real danger to the world of Termina not Hyrule.
Gameplay
The gameplay is all about masks and there's not alot of temples but there are tons of masks each with their own different ability. The game has a 3 day cycle so you have to save it in 3 days which is about 72 minutes to stop the overlooking moon crashing on Termina. There are songs which can help you slow time down and if you play a Song called the Song of Time it can send you back in time to the first day and if you play that song backwards it slows time down but by about a third so racing against the clock can be difficult some.You learn so many songs which should help you throughout the game. Also if you have rupees you can deposit them before you play the song of time so its like a bank and if you store enough Rupees you get a bigger wallet.The game doesn't let you save where you want to which is a bit of a problem you have to hit owl stones to save your game that it quits as well which can be a pain. Their are weapons that return from previous Zelda games like the Bow and the Lens of Truth and a few more. So overall I would say the gameplay has a few problems.
Sound and Graphics
The sound is beautiful it has a great set of tunes like all Zelda games espcially Termina Field and the graphics are basically the same as Ocarina of Time. Nothing really much different in terms of graphics.
Lastability
This game should take about 15 to 20 hours to complete but it can take alot of time espically with the 3 day period and that can be a bit of a pain for some because some people aren't as quick at completing games as others.
Overall Opinion
Legend of Zelda Majoras Mask is a completely different Zelda game to any other game in the series. It has you playing against the clock which for some will be a problem and that might actually put alot of people off playing it. It can be really difficult to get into even for some Zelda fans but if you can then it is worth playing. Overall what I am trying to say is if you are okay with replaying the 3 days over and over again this game is great. Not the best Zelda in the series it is hard as well to play in terms of its difficultly. What I am trying to say is this Zelda game is not for everyone. If you can't get into it then you won't like it but if you can you will appreciate it.
