An amped up version of the original Zelda. This game does what that does with better graphics and it's a longer game.

The third Zelda game (A Link to the Past) is not all it's cracked up to be.
The game was fine but it really was just too similar to the original Zelda. The graphics were better and it was longer but it didn't feel very special.
There were some really cheap bosses that would knock you down a cliff and you would have to start back over again which wasn't difficult, it was just annoying.
Some say this is the best Zelda game but I actually don't believe that at all.
It was fun and it passed the time but it wasn't anything to write home about.
I also had a problem with Link having pink or purple hair. His updated tunics were strange colors too like blue and yellow and red and pink. I don't think the final chain mail for Link should have pink in it. That is just embarrassing.
Gannon was cool but he was almost the same boss from the original game being stunned in a different color and killed by silver arrows. Yawn.
I just felt like the game was too long and didn't do anything too amazing. Also, another thing I thought was weird was getting turned into a bunny. No thanks.

BEST MOMENT: Getting the Golden Sword and final tunic and feeling uber powerful.

WORST MOMENT: Bosses that knock you down cliffs so you have to start over, who thinks that's a fun idea?

FINAL JUDGEMENT: I suppose you could skip playing the original game and just play this one since it's the same game just souped-up. Not too bad, definitely better than Zelda II, it's predecessor. Play it once and forget it. There are better Zelda games out there.
