Possible Skyrim DLC or Mods from DICE 2012 Keynote Address

pls Tell me THAY ARE ON ALL 3 (XBOX, PC, PS3) AND YOU CAN USE THIS WITHOUT KINECT

YES TO PRETTY MUCH ALL OF THOSE! They just released a few with patch 1.5 I wouldn't mind seeing the rest, or almost all of them... pretty great! The folliage is great! and SPEARs please with spears+ throwing them.

Thats a DLC I wouldn't mind paying for

Any visual/animation improvements (liked seasonal foliage and footprints) should be added obviously, spears and magic arrows make sense, and conjuring friendly's combining two different spells definitely works. Most of these should be implemented if they can make it work, they're already adding the kill cams in update 1.5. The only one that seems out of place to me is the dragon mounting, although it's probably fkn awesome to do, not to mention probable loading/lag issues with consoles while flying in the game. So far my Skyrim experience has been great, no quest breaking glitches, only minor glitches (dead dragons appearing in new area's and guild members bugging out), knock on wood. Playing on 360, un-patched and 100+ hours gameplay. Make it happen Bethesda DLC style please!

I love the seasonal foliage + flow-based water shader. will we ever see this on some DLC or in some other forms? (sorry 4 bad en)

@GamerOuTLaWz er....cheers? Not sure what you mean but erm.........yeah super???? Bit of shame modding any new areas interior or exterior is so bugged within the toolkit that it's actually impossible to make anything in terms of making new areas so don't expect any particuliar great mods that add new areas. I notice the open cities mod has been totally screwed over due to 2 very stupid massive bugs in the toolkit that have been there for 5 years and development on that has pretty much been stopped now. Bit of a shame really as the things you could do with that toolkit could be so good :(

There are some great ideas here for expanding the gameplay for those that have already hammered the game. I like the graphical tweaks should look good with all the current tweaks I have already applied. SPEARS return YEAH! Last seen in Morrowind.

Is this future DLC, or can I download and install these mods now?...where can I get these dag nabbit?!!! I already got the best ones from Steam Workshop, and Skyrim Nexus, but these mods, created by the Bethesda team, dookie stain all over my existing mods.

@dawnofhero no prob bro, is just cuz many hater have any idea of what is to make a game... like they may not put the mounted combat because they might think that would unbalance the game for example, has u said, maybe they had their reasons for leaving it out.

@statistx Well the game had a huge amount of content anyway...and if they thought in the same way the game would never get completed, as they would just continuously add things. Im just glad they might be adding this on now, it is good when developers support their game and community after release...making dlc is not always good or fair, but in this case i think it is...its not as if the game was lacking anything (just from my experience anyway, as i know some people would argue that it was).

hmm I'm guessing they will add them to the expansion (cross fingers :P) while your at it Beth. just make a whole new province XD or you no get arrow in knee *trollface*

Omg, why not add all of these to the game?? Heck even sell them as DLC, as long as you include a hard copy version you can buy I'll be happy.

Awesome, but makes you wonder, since those only took a week by single people, why some of those features aren't allready in the game...

I thought combining diffrent spells and putting out sources of light were already in the game untill I played it :( Still best game ever though.

@LorDofGod Jeepers creepers, lol, no need to get in a knot, I was just wondering why Bethesda didn't put this content in the game originally. It seems like it would have been a no-brainer to do so, especially after they let the staff put their ideas into it and it only took them a week to come up with all that stuff. Mounted combat? Heck, Twilight Princess had mounted combat back in 06'. Bethesda could have easily incorporated that idea into Skyrim. But, maybe they had their reasons for leaving it out.

That's right just do your own thing instead your usual work for a week, the catch is that the company keeps what you come up with. From standard corporate thinking they just risked wasting 2% of the year!

Bethesda made a great game with a lot of hard work and still are making it even better !!!! come on people give them your appreciation for the great work that they've done, so that they can make the game even better. p.s - we cannot undo the fact that the game has been released without these contents , so we just have to wait for these contents to be released at sometime soon.

They came up with some cool stuff.

i can't believe the stuff people says. you people don't even know how games are made and limitations and choices have to be made in order to have an overall balanced and complete game. for exemple, they could easily put dragon mounts in the game, but it would probably be unbalanced and need a lot of tweaking that takes time. these things need a reason and time to be implanted. other things might look good in the video, but not as good on a regular PC (the water effect for exemple).

At least a couple of those were already made by modders ;p

At all the people complaining.....It's called a mod community. It's how Bethesda titles work. The original game was great and had a lot of content. Sorry if you didn't like it. All this new stuff is just icing on the cake. I for one am happy to see all the new stuff coming out.

Yes please to all... apart from the Kinect shouts, not so much... unless those (like me) who don't want to spend £100 on a novelty can use the microphone situated in headsets! You kinda have to wonder why some of these were not in the game to begin with? Maybe if they had a similar approach to making the game exclusively for console or possibly one of the consoles then they would have had a lot longer to work on the glitches and bugs (please fix them now! I can't wait another two months to finish a broken quest or get rid of items stuck in my inventory or fight the one hundredth bloody dragon) and also implement some of these ideas. Lesson to be learnt: let the PC have it first as they can get round bugs/glitches through the console window. Consoles (Xbox 360 PS3) have no such choice in the matter! Booooooo!

So that means that if you took 2 more weeks to produce the game, all those could have been in....Hmmmm... Or you just gonna put it out as DLCs '' Skyrim Enhanced DLC'' and rip off some money...Hmmmmm Good work.... fails

Guaranteed there's a couple hundred skilled modders working down the list of features this video displayed heh. By the time any of these show up in official dlc pc users will of been running with everything here for months :)

Are you kidding me Bethesda?!! This looks like stuff that should have been in the actual game. This game would be a 10! with all of that. All I got from this video was that the game should have been the best game of the last 20 years! I love Skyrim, but now I'm pissed at being a console gamer. This is crap!!!!

I've got an idea. Let's keep putting things out that rub in my face that I should've gotten a gaming PC. *sigh* Just gunna have to hope that some of this makes it to the consoles. I don't even want the cool stuff cause I KNOW the consoles won't be able to handle it. Would be a waste of time to even try. Keep the PC awesome!
